VSL Joins Hands with Isabel Hospice

As a Hertfordshire-based company with strong ties to the local community, VSL‘s engagements with non-profit organisations are mostly intuitive and informal. That’s why when all the stocks in the local charity, Isabel Hospice, were destroyed in a vandal attack, the team at VSL got together to help replenish them.

VSL’s vision for good social citizenship is formed by the value its employees, partners, and other stakeholders place on social responsibility. After internal consultations, it was decided that the company would partner with Isabel Hospice to raise funds, so it may continue providing free palliative care to patients in Hertfordshire.

The hospice requires £4.5 per million per year to offer its patients quality specialist care. As there is no time like the present to do a good deed, VSL is kicking off 2019 with the announcement that it will attend two fund-raising events this year – a go-karting event in March, and a bubble rush in July.
