VSL Step Challenge
Over the past few weeks, the entire VSL team have been ‘stepping up’ to raise money for our wonderful chosen charity. We were looking for a group challenge to take on which could be done from any location and by every member of our team. We set ourselves the challenge of taking 1 million steps as a team between the 23rd and 29th of May!
Tracking our daily steps on our phones and smart watches, we are absolutely delighted to announce that our whole team absolutely smashed our target and managed to achieve an incredible 1,334,134 steps. In addition, all participants had visibility of each others step count encouraging some great competition.
This truly was a team effort, with everyone contributing a minimum of 8,000 steps per day, and a special recognition (and this year’s winner of our new ‘Big Stepper’ award) to Liam who made an eye watering 121,029 steps across the 7 days!
We are so proud of all our team and are thrilled that everyone came together and took on this challenge with such enthusiasm. It shows that team building is achievable even with hybrid working. Watch this space for our next Steps challenge in September!
